This project is for children from severely disadvantaged areas. Mornings are spent developing preschool aged children as well as children who do not attend school. In the afternoons we do various sport projects with the children where we teach and play soccer, netball, cricket and other team sports which not only develops the children but is also a way for the children to be exposed to better role models and to be kept busy which serves an important role in lowering socio-economic problems which are often found in these settlements, such as teenage pregnancy, delinquency, petty crime, and which lowers their chances of getting involved in gangsterism and negative behaviour.
Volunteers will teach kids fitness and hygiene, help with classroom activities in the preschool, run fun days and sports programs, be a positive role model, educate children in life lessons and help with some basic building projects.
